The Cat Cafe offers three different kinds of meals a day. They serve chicken Kow Ram in morning,Mango chicken in the afternoon,and spicy beef in the evening. The unique atmosphere draws a steady stream of visitors through the week. Even during the holidays,people from far off visited the place to enjoy a well-balanced diet of fresh fruits,homemade cakes,and desserts. They were rewarded when the cat cafe opened its doors to the public in December last year.

According to the latest statistics,over a hundred and sixty-five cats are taken care of at these establishments. Of these,about twenty-five are shelter pets,while the rest are abandoned or lost. The Cat Cafe realised the importance of introducing these cats to people who do not know them and could adopt them. By setting up their own cat cafes,the volunteers hope that by adopting these unwanted animals,they help to save more future cat rescues.

In fact,The Cat Cafe’s rescue mission is not the only one being undertaken by the volunteer organisations. Since last March,thousands of stray and abandoned cats have been placed for adoption at the centres. The idea behind the first cat cafe in Singapore is to provide loving homes for these poor animals. To date,the cat cafe is open for three hours on Friday,Saturday and Sunday.
